Finance Manager

About the role

G4S, an Allied Universal company, is a global security and workforce solutions provider operating in over 90 countries. In Lebanon the business serves banks, institutions and major commercial customers, and is seeking a Finance Manager to own the numbers for the Lebanese operation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Lebanon P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, delivering monthly close to Group deadlines.
• Lead and develop a team of five across general accounting and procurement.
• Manage dual‑currency (USD/LBP) accounting and IFRS reporting under IAS 29 hyperinflationary treatment.
• Partner with CRT and operations leadership on contract profitability, asset and fleet costs, and pricing decisions.
• Maintain the control environment for cash, assets, reconciliations, custody, consumables, capex and procurement approvals.
• Oversee statutory compliance including VAT, corporate income tax, payroll tax, NSSF and the annual external audit.
• Produce budgets, forecasts and variance analysis to support Country Manager decision‑making.

Required profile

• Seven or more years of finance experience, with at least three years leading a team of three or more.
• LACPA membership, or an international qualification (ACCA / CPA / CMA), or a Big 4 Beirut audit background moved into industry.
• Hands‑on experience with dual‑currency USD/LBP reporting and IAS 29 since 2020 (hard requirement).
• Experience reporting to a group, regional or donor‑compliance structure against fixed deadlines.
• Control and process experience in an operationally complex business such as services, logistics, distribution, manufacturing or humanitarian programmes.
• Fluent English at group reporting standard.
• Based in Lebanon, able to commute daily to Awkar and looking for a long‑term role.
