Finance & Operations Manager – Manufacturing (Abidjan)

About the role

The Finance & Operations Manager will lead the financial and supply‑chain functions of a manufacturing company in Abidjan, ensuring that production, innovation and financial processes are efficient, cost‑effective and aligned with strategic goals and food‑industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities across production, finance, R&D and supply‑chain teams.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies and procedures that support business objectives.
• Monitor KPIs to drive productivity, cost control and profitability.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts and financial reports; analyse data to identify trends and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with accounting for accurate costing, inventory valuation and financial compliance.
• Manage procurement, inventory control, logistics and vendor relationships; negotiate supplier contracts.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, GMP and other food‑safety regulations; support internal and external audits.
• Lead, train and mentor department managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in finance and operations management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, supply‑chain processes and R&D operations.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and leadership abilities.
• Deep understanding of food‑safety regulations and production standards.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
