Field Senior Manager – Beirut, Mount Lebanon & South

About the role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking a senior leader to head its field operations in Beirut, Mount Lebanon and South (BML‑South). The Field Senior Manager will oversee all programme centres and shelters, ensuring efficient, high‑quality delivery of humanitarian assistance to displaced and crisis‑affected populations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day coordination across programmes and operations in BML‑South.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings to review priorities, challenges and follow‑up actions.
- Support area‑based planning and implementation together with programme and operations leads.
- Develop and adapt access strategies, response plans and proposals in line with field realities.
- Engage partners, donors and community leaders, representing IRC in the field.
- Ensure compliance with security procedures, support risk identification and analysis.
- Oversee field‑level support staff and coordinate with programme coordinators.
- Accompany senior visits and donor missions to project sites as required.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience managing humanitarian emergencies and displaced‑population programmes.
- Strong diplomatic skills to handle complex, sensitive issues with beneficiaries, partners and donors.
- Ability to provide strategic guidance and operational oversight across multiple sites.
