ERP Project Manager - Construction Company

About the role

ICC, a construction contractor based in Lebanon, is launching a company-wide ERP implementation and is looking for a Project Manager to lead it from planning to go-live. The role is not generic IT: it requires someone who understands how a construction company operates, including site operations, procurement, subcontractors, equipment, project costing and progress billing. The system will be shaped around how teams work in Lebanon and on projects in Africa and elsewhere.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and lead the full ERP implementation, from requirements gathering through deployment and post go-live support.
• Map ICC's business processes (finance, procurement, HR, project controls, equipment and stores) and translate them into the ERP setup.
• Coordinate the ERP vendor, consultants, developers and internal department heads.
• Track progress, risks and milestones and report regularly to senior management.
• Manage the implementation budget, timeline and resources.
• Lead data migration, user testing and training for head office and site teams.
• Ensure the system is actually used after launch, not just installed.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing ERP implementations end to end.
• Hands-on experience in a construction or contracting company (a must).
• Good understanding of construction workflows: project cost control, procurement, subcontract management, plant and equipment, progress invoicing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and structured project management methods.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or ERP certification is a plus.
• Fluent English; Arabic and/or French is an advantage.
