Engineering Team Lead – Remote, $200k/year

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Team Lead to drive the development of AI‑powered educational applications. In this hybrid role you will split your time between hands‑on coding and mentoring a small team of 3‑5 engineers, delivering products that reach thousands of students worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated full‑stack features that serve as reusable templates for the team.
• Conduct thorough pull‑request reviews with detailed, instructional feedback.
• Mentor engineers through pair programming and constructive code reviews.
• Organize technical initiatives, break down specifications, and define quality benchmarks.
• Ensure the team adheres to defined quality standards and delivery timelines.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of full‑stack development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience (code reviews, mentoring, setting standards).
• Proven track record of delivering SaaS products.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI tools into development workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to elevate the performance of other engineers.
