Demand Planning Assistant Manager Levant & Iraq

About the role

The Demand Planning Assistant Manager will coordinate the demand planning process for the Levant and Iraq region, consolidating forecasts from brands and customer service partners to support supply and financial planning. Based in Beirut, the role ensures forecast integrity, drives the S&OP cycle and continuously improves forecasting accuracy across the category.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate a cross‑functional team of CSP and Marketing to deliver accurate weekly SKU‑volume forecasts.
• Lead the category demand planning meetings, achieving consensus on demand figures for business operations.
• Maintain channel‑wise baseline forecasts and ensure adherence to demand planning policies.
• Own forecast accuracy for the category, initiating actions to improve bias and reliability.
• Update the Innovation Plan and track post‑launch performance, alerting relevant functions to variances.
• Refresh the quarterly long‑term volume plan to support capacity decisions.
• Facilitate communication between Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Brands, CSP, and Finance.
• Coordinate S&OP meetings and contribute to activity planning, incorporating realistic incremental and cannibalisation effects.
• Monitor weekly demand exceptions, collaborating with supply and customer service teams to adjust production or sales plans.
• Continuously assess forecast performance and propose process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand planning or supply chain within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive forecast accuracy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills to lead cross‑functional meetings.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Based in Beirut and willing to work on‑site.
