Shipping and Receiving Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team in Verdun. This full‑time, on‑site position plays a key part in keeping our supply chain running smoothly by handling inbound and outbound shipments with accuracy and speed.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and documentation, and record materials in the inventory system.
• Prepare outgoing orders by packing products, labeling cartons, and organizing pallets for transport using pallet jacks and approved equipment.
• Maintain orderly storage areas, monitor stock levels, and support regular inventory counts.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely shipments.
• Uphold safety and quality standards throughout all handling activities.

Required profile

• Strong shipping and receiving experience, including checking deliveries and matching paperwork.
• Proven inventory control abilities such as tracking stock and assisting with cycle counts or audits.
• Effective communication skills for clear coordination with team members and external partners.
• Attention to detail, basic math, and computer proficiency.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions reliably.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
