Cybersecurity Officer

About the role

Averda is seeking a Cybersecurity Officer to protect and enhance its IT security across cloud, on‑premises, and endpoint environments. The role will focus on threat monitoring, incident response, identity and access security, and vulnerability management while ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 and NIST standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls for corporate assets and data across global locations.
• Manage enterprise threat‑protection platforms and respond to security incidents.
• Administer and secure Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra ID identity environments.
• Perform network hardening and enforce secure configuration baselines.
• Oversee endpoint compliance, patch management, and device security.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
• Maintain cybersecurity governance and continuous compliance with ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or related field (Master’s advantageous).
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations or IT security engineering.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ‑900, SC‑200, SC‑300) and security certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+) are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST and industry best practices.

• Trend Micro Apex One, Microsoft 365 Defender, Windows Defender AV/EDR, Defender for Cloud Apps.
• Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID (Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, identity governance).
• Microsoft Intune, endpoint security profiles, patch management, OS hardening.
• Firewall, switch, VPN and Wi‑Fi hardening, network segmentation, ZTNA, secure baselines.
• Vulnerability scanning, remediation, SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management.
