Control Analysis Associate

About the role

The Control Analysis Associate supports the Area Financial Controller by analysing internal processes, identifying gaps, and recommending corrective actions to mitigate risk. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strengthens internal controls, and contributes to the overall efficiency of the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Review monthly financial statements by entity, identify errors, and communicate findings to line managers, accounting, and ABS teams.
• Compile ledgers, accounts, and reports within governmental deadlines to facilitate financial reconciliation.
• Assist operational and commercial departments with invoice and payment verification, and help develop accounting policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate transaction recording following established procedures.
• Coordinate communication between logistics, marketing, and accounting to guarantee correct expense recording.
• Support budget reviews, financial forecasts, and variance reporting while maintaining quality control.
• Verify compliance with tax regulations, GAAP/IFRS, and company procedures.
• Provide data for internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Required profile

• BBA with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).
• 0‑2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.
• Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
