About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a senior member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping the financial strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and safeguarding financial integrity across the organisation. This expatriate assignment requires a proactive business partner who can drive growth, profitability and transformation in a highly international, matrixed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate goals and provide insights to the board.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Oversee accounting policies, internal controls, audit processes and compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and optimise capital structure.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives, margin improvement and process automation across finance operations.
• Ensure robust governance, liaise with auditors, tax authorities and implement risk‑management frameworks.
• Lead ERP utilisation (preferably SAP) and digital transformation projects within the finance function.
• Partner with operations, sales and commercial teams to support strategic initiatives and profitability analysis.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably at CFO or Finance Director level.
• Ability to navigate complex matrix structures and diverse cultural contexts.
• Willingness to relocate internationally and rotate to other roles or countries as required.
• Strong business acumen with a data‑driven, fact‑based decision‑making approach.
