Junior Accountant

About the role

The Junior Accountant will join Amiouni Trading’s finance team in Beirut, supporting daily accounting operations for a company that supplies automotive and aviation products. This full‑time, on‑site position offers exposure to both trading and industrial accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions in the accounting system and process supplier invoices.
• Track accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare basic financial reports and maintain organized documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve accounting queries while adhering to company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Foundational accounting knowledge, including general ledger entries, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior internship or junior accounting experience, preferably in trading, automotive, or industrial sectors.
• Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
• Professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality of financial information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and basic analysis.
• Competence in MS Office applications.
