Cashier

About the role

DEKERS, a curated luxury concept store, is looking for a dedicated Cashier to join its on‑site team in Beirut. The role focuses on delivering a seamless checkout experience that reflects the store’s premium positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately using the POS system, handling cash and electronic payments.
• Issue receipts, manage cash drawers, and perform end‑of‑day reconciliation.
• Greet customers, answer basic product and store inquiries, and support gift‑wrapping or packaging requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Follow store policies for returns, exchanges, discounts, and gift cards.
• Assist sales associates with customer flow and basic administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with courteous communication and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced luxury retail environment, including standing for extended periods.
• Reliability in following checklists, store policies, and daily operational routines.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; retail or hospitality experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
