Backend Developer – Internal Systems & Automation

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to own the design, development, and scaling of our internal systems and automation infrastructure. You will work closely with business teams to translate operational needs into robust technical solutions that improve efficiency across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend systems and APIs that power internal tools.
• Develop automation workflows and internal platforms for operations and reporting.
• Design, implement, and manage databases and overall system architecture.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs, including REST APIs and webhooks.
• Continuously improve and optimise existing processes and codebases.

Required profile

• Strong experience in backend development using Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
• Proven track record building scalable APIs and systems.
• Deep understanding of database design and system architecture.
• Ability to work with complex business logic and operational workflows.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Fluent English communication skills.
