Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and dispatch. This role leads a team, implements safety standards and best practices, and collaborates with Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, and other functions to maintain smooth product flow and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all warehouse activities including receiving, put‑away, picking, replenishment, order preparation, and dispatch.
• Ensure products are stored safely and organized according to procedures and space‑utilisation guidelines.
• Monitor inbound and outbound flows, service levels, and order fulfillment performance.
• Control inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, manage stock rotations (FIFO/FEFO), and handle expiry monitoring.
• Manage damaged or non‑conforming items and coordinate insurance claims.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and warehouse standards.
• Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to extract sales orders, plan replenishment, and track warehouse capacity.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising warehouse or logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, stock rotation, and safety standards.
• Ability to lead, develop, and motivate a warehouse team.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
