Travel Consultant / Reservation & Tourism Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Travel Consultant to manage end‑to‑end travel arrangements for our clients. The role involves booking flights, hotels, visas, holiday packages and corporate travel, while leveraging modern technology to enhance service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Book domestic and international flights using Amadeus GDS, handling ticket issuance, reissues, cancellations and refunds.
• Reserve hotels through suppliers and online platforms, manage modifications and special requests.
• Design customized holiday packages, prepare quotations and itineraries, and coordinate all components.
• Advise clients on visa requirements, prepare documentation and follow up with embassies.
• Arrange airport transfers, travel insurance and other ancillary services.
• Manage corporate travel accounts, respond to urgent business travel requests and maintain client relationships.
• Provide professional customer service via phone, email, WhatsApp and social media, resolving issues promptly.
• Prepare quotations, invoices and travel documents, ensuring accurate records and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Travel Consultant in a travel agency.
• Hands‑on experience with Amadeus GDS is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of airline ticketing, fare rules, reissues and refunds.
• Experience with hotel reservations, visa services and holiday package creation.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Required skills

• Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS).
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Gemini.
