Tender and Supply Chain Business Partner – Iraq

About the role

Roche is looking for an agile, strategic Tender & Supply Chain Business Partner to act as a trusted co‑pilot for the Iraqi market. You will bridge commercial ambition with operational excellence, partnering with internal teams, distributors and public stakeholders to shape seamless supply‑chain strategies and maximise tender success.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and distributors on demand planning and forecast alignment.
• Manage logistics, shipment scheduling and transparent communication of delivery updates.
• Oversee inventory health, authorise stock adjustments, monitor expiry dates and track inventory days.
• Coordinate local purchase orders with global headquarters and ensure warehouse readiness.
• Drive end‑to‑end public tender processes from announcement through contract signing and execution.
• Secure internal approvals, manage tender communications with KIMADIA and obtain unloading reports.
• Partner with Finance to track deliveries, validate invoices, penalties and cash flow.
• Develop data‑driven analyses of logistical challenges and produce periodic reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Pricing, Compliance and other functions to align supply strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain or tender management within a regulated industry.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across local, regional and global teams.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
