Technical Tenders Engineer – Mechanical & Industrial Equipment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the technical and financial tendering process for a wide range of industrial equipment. The role requires strong hands‑on knowledge of machinery, the ability to interpret specifications and drawings, and confident communication with manufacturers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of technical and financial tender offers, ensuring compliance, completeness and competitiveness.
• Analyse tender specifications, validate technical compliance and select the most suitable brands and products.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, delivery times and commercial terms.
• Manage project execution including ordering, shipment follow‑up, delivery planning, installation and invoicing.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers and manufacturers.
• Develop and monitor tender execution plans to meet all deadlines and submission requirements.
• Collaborate internally with Sales, Technical, Procurement, Logistics, Finance and Management throughout the tendering process.
• Respond to tender clarifications, client inquiries and bidding authority requirements, and attend pre‑bid meetings and site visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of practical experience with automotive workshop equipment, CNC machines, packaging machinery, industrial refrigeration, maintenance tools or measurement and testing equipment.
• Proven ability to understand client applications and identify technically suitable solutions.
• Strong analytical, research, communication and organisational abilities.
• High ethical standards, confidentiality and the capacity to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• AutoCAD – preparing and reading technical drawings.
• In‑depth knowledge of CNC machines and machine tools.
• Experience with industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Familiarity with measurement, inspection and testing equipment.
• Fluent English (French considered a plus).
