Technical Consultant

About the role

The Technical Consultant (also referred to as Application Consultant) will analyze business requirements, implement and support enterprise applications, and ensure that business processes align with technology solutions. This role blends functional consulting, technical expertise, and deep knowledge of ERP systems to deliver effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements from users and stakeholders, identify gaps and propose solutions.
• Participate in implementation, configuration, enhancement and support of ERP and related business applications.
• Provide functional and technical support for ERP systems, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Act as Product Owner for assigned applications: define requirements, prioritise development, validate deliverables and ensure successful rollout.
• Conduct user acceptance testing, system testing and quality‑assurance activities.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as business requirements, process flows, user manuals and technical specifications.
• Deliver end‑user training and ongoing support to maximise adoption.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, jobs and integrations to automate business processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration between ERP and other systems.
• Monitor application performance and recommend enhancements for operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience with ERP or enterprise application environments.
• Strong analytical abilities to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to work closely with business users, development teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in conducting testing, documentation and user training.
