Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

Toters is a fast‑growing on‑demand e‑commerce and delivery platform looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of its production systems. You will lead incident response, build proactive monitoring, and automate operations to keep services running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Incident Commander for major outages, driving real‑time diagnosis, communication, and recovery.
• Own the full incident lifecycle, including post‑mortems and action plans.
• Design and maintain metrics, alerts, and dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic.
• Implement SLIs/SLOs to achieve 99.99%+ uptime and integrate log management and tracing with ELK Stack and AWS X‑Ray.
• Develop automation scripts and internal tools in Python or Node.js to reduce manual work and improve MTTR.
• Build self‑healing infrastructure with IaC and automation pipelines.
• Optimize on‑call workflows, escalation policies, and runbooks using PagerDuty.
• Operate and improve AWS‑hosted infrastructure, ensuring reliability, cost efficiency, and scalability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Proven track record managing production incidents and participating in on‑call rotations.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
• Proficient in Python or Node.js for automation.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and CI/CD pipelines.
