Senior Sales Engineer

About the role

Saccal Group is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and develop technical proposals for diesel generator sets and related power solutions across local and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market share.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals for diesel generator sets, control systems, and related equipment.
• Participate in local tenders and maintain relationships with NGOs.
• Conduct site visits, perform technical evaluations, and recommend appropriate power solutions.
• Collaborate with installation and service teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage project inquiries by reviewing Bills of Quantities, technical specifications, and documentation.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of sales experience, preferably in a technical or engineering field.
• Proven experience in technical sales within manufacturing, engineering, or power generation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and business development skills.
• Proactive, customer‑oriented personality with ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Own a vehicle and be willing to travel for work.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of diesel generator sets.
• Familiarity with control systems for power generation.
• Ability to evaluate Bills of Quantities and technical specifications.
