Senior Mechanical Engineer – Lead Design & BIM

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our Mechanical Engineering Department, delivering high‑quality mechanical and electromechanical designs for multidisciplinary building and infrastructure projects. The role involves overseeing design, construction supervision and BIM‑integrated delivery across projects in Lebanon and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the mechanical engineering department and optimise resource utilisation.
• Lead mechanical design, design reviews and construction supervision from schematic to execution stages.
• Detect and resolve BIM model clashes in collaboration with BIM specialists (LOD 300–500).
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and coordination with MEP, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Prepare and review BOQs, specifications, technical reports, submittals and tender packages.
• Support site teams with technical evaluations and compliance oversight.
• Contribute to proposal development by defining scope, estimating resources and offering technical solutions.
• Participate in technical reviews, value‑engineering workshops and coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory); Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of mechanical/electromechanical engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience in design, design review and construction supervision of complex MEP systems.
• Strong familiarity with KSA, MEA, GCC and international codes and practices.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; French a plus.
• Willingness to travel regionally (Egypt, KSA) and immediate availability preferred.
