Senior IT Auditor

About the role

The Senior IT Auditor will ensure that internal IT controls are properly designed, implemented and maintained across the organization. You will evaluate IT systems, governance frameworks and network security to guarantee data integrity, availability and compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal IT audit engagements, defining objectives, risks and audit programs.
• Assess the design and operational effectiveness of IT controls and recommend remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to align audit activities with service requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities in networks and systems, and propose counter‑measures.
• Review and test application controls, firewall configurations and overall cybersecurity measures.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports, work papers and documentation of findings.
• Manage special audit projects such as fraud investigations, due‑diligence reviews and policy updates.

Required profile

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or a related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Professional certification: CISA or CIA (mandatory).
• Advanced written and spoken English; moderate Arabic; French a plus.
• Strong understanding of business processes and IT service delivery.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of firewalls and network security.
• Solid background in cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
• Ability to perform risk assessments and vulnerability testing.
