Senior Google Workplace IT Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Google Workplace Technology Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure & Security team. You will own and enhance our global digital workplace, driving automation, security, and a seamless employee experience across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimise Google Workspace and Slack Enterprise for 1,700+ users.
• Manage Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Google Chat, Slack workflows, integrations and governance.
• Handle onboarding, off‑boarding, provisioning, permissions and access‑lifecycle management.
• Configure and maintain SSO, SCIM, MFA and identity integrations with Okta.
• Support workplace platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Hexnode, BambooHR, Jira/Confluence, Zendesk and SentinelOne.
• Build and improve workflows, automations and integrations using APIs, webhooks and automation platforms.
• Implement security best practices such as DLP, retention policies, access controls and SaaS governance.
• Provide endpoint management, operational IT activities and multi‑region user support.
• Document SOPs, operational standards and partner with business teams to improve scalability and employee experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise workplace technology environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise and SaaS administration.
• Experience with Okta, identity management and access governance.
• Knowledge of automation tools, APIs, integrations and workflow optimisation.
• Familiarity with endpoint/device management platforms (Hexnode preferred).
• Understanding of enterprise security best practices and operational IT environments.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, JavaScript or PowerShell is a plus.
