Senior Freight Forwarder

About the role

The Senior Freight Forwarder is a full-time, on-site position based in Beirut. The role manages end-to-end freight forwarding operations, from coordinating shipments and preparing export documentation to arranging freight transport by air, sea and land.

Key responsibilities

• Handle booking and routing, track and trace shipments and resolve logistics issues to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain strong customer service standards and liaise with carriers and customs brokers.
• Optimize costs and provide status updates and reports to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate billing, compliance with trade regulations and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in freight forwarding, with experience managing complex international shipments.
• Hands-on experience with export procedures, documentation, customs requirements and trade compliance.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and Incoterms.
• Ability to work on-site in Beirut, manage multiple priorities and stay accurate under time pressure.
• A degree or certification in logistics, supply chain or a related field is an advantage.
