Senior AWS Solutions Architect & Team Lead (Onsite, Beirut)

About the role

Digico Solutions is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner looking for a senior AWS Solutions Architect to lead technical design for enterprise engagements in its Beirut office. The role covers end‑to‑end architecture from pre‑sales discovery through migration planning and hand‑off to delivery, with occasional travel to Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery workshops with MENA enterprise customers, focusing on data platforms, GenAI applications on Amazon Bedrock, and regulated workloads.
• Produce Well‑Architected reviews, MAP migration plans, reference architectures and cost models aligned with AWS funding programs.
• Collaborate with the AWS Alliance Lead to qualify co‑sell opportunities and progress deals through the APN.
• Own architecture artifacts in proposals, including diagrams, BoMs, security and compliance mappings (NCA ECC, SAMA CSF, ISO 27001, ISO 42001).
• Mentor mid‑level engineers, review delivery designs and feed capability gaps back into the engineering roadmap.

Required profile

• 6+ years building production systems on AWS, with at least 3 years in a customer‑facing architect role.
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Strong written English; Arabic is a plus.
• Proven experience sizing and writing migration plans for workloads with $50K+/month run‑rate.
• Pre‑sales experience: running discovery calls, challenging assumptions and defining next steps.

Required skills

• AWS core services: VPC design, IAM, Identity Center, Landing Zone/Control Tower, EKS or ECS, RDS/Aurora, S3 data‑lake patterns, CloudWatch and observability.
• GenAI and analytics: Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Compliance frameworks: NCA, SAMA, ISO 27001, ISO 42001.
