Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a disciplined, hands‑on Senior Accountant to manage the day‑to‑day accounting function for LMC, a leading logistics services provider in Beirut. Reporting to the Hub Accounting Manager, you will be the backbone of accounting control, ensuring accuracy, discipline and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and monitor bank transfers and other cash‑management activities.
• Lead month‑end closing processes and review journal vouchers.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and manage current accounts.
• Prepare and file VAT and other applicable tax returns on schedule.
• Oversee prepaid, payroll and insurance accounting entries.
• Support intercompany management fee processes as directed.
• Act as first point of escalation for accounting issues and coordinate with the Revenue Controller on revenue items.
• Drive ERP (YODA) usage and contribute to AI‑driven automation initiatives.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑entity or group environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work closely with and take direction from the Hub Accounting Manager.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically YODA.
