Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join HNZ Holding. The successful candidate will manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with Lebanese regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries, accruals and financial adjustments.
• Manage supplier and customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Match invoices, credit notes, receipts and payments.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash‑flow statements.
• Handle payroll processing and related statutory declarations.
• Prepare and submit VAT, income tax on salaries, NSSF and business profit tax filings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Lebanese regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s degree is a strong advantage).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of Lebanese taxation, payroll, labor law and NSSF procedures.
• Strong experience in financial reporting and account reconciliation.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
