Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead our accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and maintain precise financial records.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing processes.
• Review and reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts and balance‑sheet schedules.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash‑flow management.
• Prepare financial reports and assist management with budgeting and analysis.
• Monitor project costs and allocate expenses accurately.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks and tax advisors.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support and mentor junior accounting team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a similar senior role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or CMA is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
