Security Assistant – UNOPS Local Contractor (Level 3)

About the role

The Security Assistant provides dedicated administrative, coordination and field support to UNICEF Lebanon's Security Section. Working under the guidance of the Security Specialist, the incumbent helps ensure that security risk‑management measures and staff safety procedures are effectively implemented across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate security‑related data in EPICS and related records.
• Support the warden system and security communications.
• Coordinate residential and hotel security assessments.
• Assist with planning, logistics and tracking of high‑level visits and field missions.
• Manage security clearances, movement tracking and related administrative tasks.
• Provide general administrative and planning support to the Security Section.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, political/social sciences, international relations, public administration or a related field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in administration and data management, preferably with the United Nations, NGOs, or government security agencies.
• Relevant experience in security, safety or emergency management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPICS security data system.
