Security Manager (Mgr-Security I)

About the role

A full-time, management-level Security Manager position at a Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Beirut (Verdun). The role manages security operations day to day, protecting property assets, employees and guests, and preventing and responding to accidents and fires. It also covers leading security teams, handling guest relations and supporting human resources activities.

Key responsibilities

• Protect guests, employees and hotel assets, and maintain logs, certifications and documents required by law and SOPs
• Help develop emergency procedures, investigate property losses and recommend follow-up actions for security breaches
• Deploy security staff, conduct patrols of the property and parking areas, and inspect security equipment
• Handle guest complaints and disputes, and make recommendations to reduce physical hazards and risks
• Lead security teams: brief staff on safety procedures, give direction and set performance standards, and coach and mentor them
• Provide exceptional customer service and empower employees to deliver it
• Support human resources by managing accident claims, bringing issues to HR's attention and administering property policies fairly
• Maintain first aid and CPR certifications, complete disciplinary procedures and keep records of patrols and incidents
• Work with local law enforcement, event sales (VIP escort and media control for large events) and inform executives and peers on relevant information

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, with 3 years of experience in security, loss prevention or a related field
• Or a 2-year degree in Criminal Justice or a related major, with 1 year of experience in security or loss prevention
