Sales Representative

About the role

The Sales Representative will support Marriott’s Sales & Marketing team in Verdun, Beirut, by promoting the brand, driving revenue, and maintaining guest loyalty. This full‑time position involves both client‑facing activities and internal administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Promote awareness of the Marriott brand internally and externally.
• Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while preserving existing guest loyalty.
• Identify up‑sell opportunities and sell enhancements to improve the guest experience.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing, and faxing to support the Sales & Marketing team.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify sales‑related data (commissions, leads, third‑party information) in the relevant software.
• Gather and assemble promotional materials, brochures, and information packages.
• Determine and provide complimentary gifts (e.g., reward points, show tickets) to guests.
• Prepare sales documents including proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries by phone and email.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and protect confidential information.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, answer telephone calls with proper etiquette, and review written documents for accuracy.
• Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Execute other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least two years of relevant sales or hospitality experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
