About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the distribution of our food product portfolio across Sierra Leone and Liberia. You will be responsible for building a robust retailer network, driving sales growth, and ensuring high customer satisfaction in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, target and acquire new retailers, pharmacies, beauty shops, salons, spas and wholesalers.
  • Develop and expand the distribution network in line with the company’s sales strategy.
  • Conduct regular field visits to generate leads, present products, negotiate pricing and close sales.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining strong relationships with key customers.
  • Provide product demonstrations, training for retailers and beauty advisors, and ensure proper product placement and merchandising.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends and report insights to the sales manager.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc sales reports, track performance versus targets and manage stock levels.
  • Coordinate with logistics for timely deliveries and follow up on payments and credit limits.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years of outdoor sales experience in FMCG.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
  • Deep knowledge of local markets and distribution channels.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.
