Registered Nurse – Childcare & First Aid Specialist

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide daily health care for children in a daycare setting, handling routine illnesses, minor injuries, and preventive health measures. The role combines direct patient care with guidance for staff and collaboration with external health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to non‑emergency medical needs of children on a daily basis.
• Provide basic first aid during medical emergencies while awaiting professional intervention.
• Guide and supervise daycare staff on hygiene and safety procedures, including hand washing, diaper disposal, and sanitation.
• Administer medication when required and monitor children with allergies.
• Diagnose and treat minor health ailments.
• Raise awareness among parents and children about safety and health issues.
• Execute policies and follow proper procedures in case of emergencies.
• Coordinate with visiting health professionals.
• Assist parents in consulting education or health specialists such as speech therapists, counselors, physiotherapists, and physicians.

Required profile

• University degree in Nursing or midwife training.
• Cooperative attitude and ability to work pleasantly with others.
• Dependable, reliable, and responsible.
• Attentive to detail and thorough in task completion.
• Caring and sensitive to the needs of children and families.
• Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
