About the role

The Medical Sales Representative for the Ophthalmology line will act as the primary link between Medi Drug International and healthcare professionals in Lebanon. You will promote ophthalmic products, support doctors and pharmacists with scientific information, and drive prescription growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trustworthy relationships with ophthalmologists, general practitioners, pharmacists and hospital medical teams.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and other quantitative objectives set by the Sales Manager.
  • Visit doctors, pharmacies and hospitals to present the brand, provide technical and scientific documentation, and encourage prescriptions.
  • Organise and attend appointments, round‑tables, conferences and professional events for healthcare providers.
  • Monitor sell‑out data, stock levels and replenishment needs in pharmacies and hospitals.
  • Track competitor activities, identify market gaps and propose commercial action plans.
  • Introduce the brand to new accounts and represent it at medical events to raise awareness.
  • Maintain detailed records of contacts, plan work schedules and attend internal meetings and technical briefings.

Required profile

  • Proven experience as a medical or pharmaceutical sales representative, preferably in ophthalmology.
  • Strong medical knowledge combined with commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to meet sales targets and work independently in a field‑based environment.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail for record‑keeping and reporting.
