Project Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation

About the role

Automate SCS is an engineering company specialising in industrial automation projects, systems integration and turnkey electrical contracting, and acts as an OEM for Delta robots, wind energy solutions, MES software and cabinet drives. It is a Siemens Solution Partner, Rockwell Automation System Integrator, Schneider System Integrator, PROFIBUS Competency Center and EtherCAT specialist. The Project Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dekwaneh, focused on driving sales for automation and engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Present solutions that match client requirements and company capabilities.
• Manage the sales cycle for projects and coordinate with engineering and project teams.
• Support clients from initial inquiry through project handover and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Follow up on leads and quotations to meet sales targets.
• Stay current on company products, partner technologies and market trends.

Required profile

• Experience selling technical or engineering solutions.
• Relevant qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in industrial automation, systems integration or similar sectors is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable working on-site with customers and internal teams, and willing to visit client locations.

Required skills

• Ability to read and understand technical specifications, drawings and automation system architectures.
• Sales management skills, including pipeline management, forecasting and follow-up.
• Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills.
