About the role
The research team is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to a project on private‑sector development in the UAE, focusing on innovation and climate‑focused ESG initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design and conduct quantitative finance research, including data collection via surveys and interviews with UAE private firms.
- Clean and analyze large financial and ESG datasets, estimate parameters, and develop econometric models.
- Produce at least three publications in high‑impact peer‑reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences.
- Mentor graduate students and collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers.
Required profile
- PhD in Finance from a recognized institution.
- Strong track record or high potential for peer‑reviewed publications.
- Excellent academic writing and ability to communicate research to both specialist and broader audiences.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Stata, R, Python, or MATLAB.
- Experience with quantitative methods, econometrics, and statistical data analysis.
