Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will be based on‑site in Lebanon, working full‑time for Librex Group Offshore. You will manage daily financial and accounting tasks, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation and reporting of the company’s financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record and reconcile financial transactions, prepare journal entries and maintain general ledgers.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, including financial report preparation.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, handle bank statement reconciliations and assist with tax documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external auditors and banks to ensure compliance with internal policies and Lebanese regulations.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an offshore services or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, local tax requirements and audit processes in Lebanon.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CA certification is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas and basic data analysis.
