Physics Teacher

About the role

The Physics Teacher will inspire students through inquiry‑based lessons that develop deep conceptual understanding, critical thinking and curiosity. You will balance rigorous academic instruction with meaningful personal connections to support student growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Physics lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Design and supervise experiments, laboratory work, and real‑world applications.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of middle and secondary students.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to a positive school culture and participate in student life initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school‑wide programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Teaching diploma or certification.
• Experience teaching Physics at middle and/or secondary levels.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to build a respectful, engaging learning environment.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
