Sourdough Baking Trainer (Short-Term Consultancy)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sourdough Baking Trainer to lead a hands‑on, short‑term training program on artisan sourdough bread production. The role involves delivering both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to participants over four full‑day sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a total of 32 hours of training across four full‑day sessions.
• Develop and present practical and theoretical content covering sourdough fermentation, dough handling, shaping, proofing, scoring, and baking.
• Demonstrate best practices for maintaining sourdough starters and managing fermentation processes.
• Provide guidance on bakery hygiene, food safety, and quality assurance standards.
• Supervise hands‑on exercises, offering individualized coaching and feedback.
• Assess participant performance and learning outcomes.
• Submit attendance records and a brief training completion report.

Required profile

• Proven professional experience in artisan bread and sourdough production.
• Previous experience delivering vocational training, workshops, or apprenticeships (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of fermentation science, bread production techniques, and bakery operations.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging, participant‑centered training.
