Operational Risk - Senior Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Operational Risk Senior Specialist to lead the identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of operational risks across our organization. The role will support the implementation and maintenance of a robust operational risk management framework aligned with international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and continuously monitor operational risks across business units.
• Support the implementation and upkeep of the Operational Risk Management Framework.
• Conduct Risk and Control Self‑Assessments (RCSA) and track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Identify control gaps and recommend mitigation actions to reduce risk exposure.
• Investigate operational risk incidents and assist with root‑cause analysis.
• Prepare operational risk reports and dashboards for senior management and risk committees.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management or a related field.
• 6‑10 years of experience in risk management or a related discipline.
• Experience in a Big 4 or comparable professional services firm is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with risk management tools and systems.
