MEAL Assistant – South Lebanon

About the role

Oxfam is seeking a MEAL Assistant to support its programmes in the South of Lebanon. Working under the Senior MEAL Officer, you will help collect and analyse data to ensure programme quality, accountability and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in quantitative and qualitative data collection during field visits.
• Support the development and implementation of systematic MEAL processes.
• Track outputs and outcomes, ensuring data is managed effectively for reporting and learning.
• Help verify that programmes meet Oxfam’s minimum standards and partner requirements.
• Contribute to field‑based monitoring activities and provide timely feedback to project teams.

Required profile

• 1–2 years experience working with communities in humanitarian contexts, especially with refugee or migrant populations.
• Experience collaborating with national organisations.
• Willingness to work in insecure environments with high adaptability and initiative.
• Commitment to Oxfam’s safety, security, feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion.
