MEAL Officer – Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning

About the role

Oxfam Lebanon is seeking a MEAL Officer to provide technical support and tools for monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning across its programmes. The role will help ensure data‑driven decision‑making, quality implementation and compliance with Oxfam standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of a systematic MEAL approach for Oxfam Lebanon and partner teams.
• Gather, analyse and present quantitative and qualitative data to track outputs and outcomes.
• Maintain and improve MEAL tools and computerised systems such as SurveyCTO and Power BI.
• Ensure programme data is managed effectively for reporting, learning and compliance with Oxfam minimum standards.
• Provide technical assistance to programme staff to enhance data quality and use.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning.
• Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and present both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Strong alignment with Oxfam’s mission, feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion.

Required skills

• Experience with SurveyCTO or similar data collection platforms.
• Proficiency in Power BI or comparable data visualisation tools.
• High level of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office and Excel.
