Maintenance Manager – Production & Facility

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead the upkeep of production equipment, plant utilities and facility systems for Twellium Industrial Company Limited, a leading beverage and food manufacturer in Ghana. The role focuses on ensuring high equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining compliance with safety and GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of all production machinery and plant utilities.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Lead, train and schedule a team of maintenance technicians and electricians.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare‑parts inventory and procurement processes.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of equipment failures and implement long‑term solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing industry is mandatory.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
