HR Country Head – Global Business Services

About the role

The HR Country Head will lead the human resources function for the Global Business Services (GBS) Center, reporting to the local Center Head and the Global GBS HR Director. This senior role is responsible for shaping HR strategy, driving talent initiatives, and fostering an inclusive, high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the HR strategy for the GBS Center, aligning with global corporate goals and local operational needs.
• Advise senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and career pathing to build a strong leadership pipeline.
• Design and implement retention programs, analyze attrition trends, and monitor engagement metrics.
• Lead learning and development initiatives, partnering with global HR teams to deliver technical, leadership, and soft‑skill training.
• Champion employee relations and engagement, promoting a culture of trust, transparency, and collaboration.

Required profile

• Seasoned HR professional with proven experience in a GBS or BPO environment.
• Deep expertise in talent management, organizational development, learning & development, and employee retention.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
• Demonstrated track record of building diverse, inclusive workplaces.
