About the role
The On‑Trade Sales Representative will develop and maintain relationships with bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs and other on‑trade customers. You will be responsible for promoting the brand portfolio, ensuring product availability and driving sales growth through proactive customer engagement and strategic planning.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales and market‑share growth in the on‑trade channel by identifying distribution and volume opportunities.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with bar managers, restaurant owners and event planners.
- Visit customers regularly to introduce new products, conduct tastings and execute brand‑building activities.
- Prepare tailored sales proposals, negotiate pricing and promotional terms, and close deals.
- Monitor competitor activity, industry trends and consumer preferences to adapt sales tactics.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, forecasts and achievements; report insights to management.
- Support promotional events, tastings and product launches.
- Address customer concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of sales experience, preferably in the on‑trade, hospitality or beverage sector.
- Strong sales acumen with a proven ability to meet targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and influence customers.
- Organised, able to manage multiple accounts and work independently.
- Familiarity with beverage industry trends and on‑trade dynamics is a plus.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and attend events as needed.
- Passion for food and beverage, problem‑solving mindset and customer‑centric attitude.
