Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial operations of a field office, providing accurate reporting, analysis, and strategic recommendations to support Qatar Charity’s mission. This role ensures sound asset and cash management while guiding the team toward effective financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and align estimated budgets with strategic objectives in collaboration with the Field Office Manager.
• Monitor annual plans, budgets, and submit periodic progress reports.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records, compliance with financial systems, standards, and host‑country regulations.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, final accounts, and annual closing.
• Analyze costs, contributions, and operational results against work plans.
• Produce monthly and quarterly reports for headquarters and donors.
• Supervise financial operations, enforce financial frameworks, and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage cash operations, asset inventory, and insurance coverage.
• Lead and develop the accounting staff at the field office.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Management.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CFA, CMA, or CPA.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong strategic thinking, budgeting expertise, and leadership abilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
