Facilities & Maintenance Manager

About the role

MDM Middle East is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Facilities & Maintenance Manager to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of its multi‑story art‑fabrication workshop. The role is site‑based and works closely with production, engineering, logistics and administration teams to keep the facility clean, organized, secure and fully operational.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and condition of the workshop, offices, storage areas, loading zones and external spaces.
• Maintain a clean, organized and secure environment suitable for high‑quality production.
• Monitor and manage utilities including electrical distribution, water, drainage, ventilation, air‑conditioning, lighting, fire systems, paint booths, ovens, dust collection, compressors, air receivers and generators.
• Identify facility‑related issues early and coordinate timely repairs to avoid production disruption.
• Maintain clear access routes, emergency exits, loading areas and designated storage zones.
• Support preparation of workshop areas for new equipment, processes and major projects.
• Establish and run a preventive maintenance programme for machinery, tools, lifting equipment, extraction systems, compressors and generators.
• Maintain an equipment register with serial numbers, manuals, service history, warranties, inspection dates and maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate servicing, contractor management, health and safety compliance, security, housekeeping and overall site readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities and maintenance management within an active production environment.
• Comfortable working with metalwork, carpentry, composites, finishing and sculpture fabrication processes.
• Strong ability to collaborate with production, project management, engineering, logistics and administration teams.
• Focus on safety, compliance and operational efficiency.
