Event Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Event Coordinator to plan, manage and execute a variety of events, ranging from corporate meetings to fundraisers and social gatherings. The role involves close collaboration with clients, vendors and internal teams to ensure each event runs smoothly and delivers an exceptional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute events, including corporate meetings, conferences, trade shows, fundraisers and social gatherings.
• Develop event budgets, negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Secure venues, catering, entertainment and other necessary services.
• Oversee event setup, execution and breakdown, ensuring seamless operation.
• Coordinate with marketing and PR teams to promote events and manage attendee registration.
• Handle logistics such as transportation, accommodations and scheduling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues before, during and after events.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and legal regulations and evaluate event success through feedback and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting and contract negotiation.
• Experience working with corporate, nonprofit or large‑scale event planning.
• Knowledge of event marketing strategies.
• Certification in event planning (e.g., Certified Meeting Professional – CMP) is a plus.
