Energy Consultant Graduate Program (Entry-Level Analyst in Training)

About the role

Ark Energy, an advisory firm on energy transition, cleantech and energy management digitalization, is looking for motivated graduates to join its 6-month Entry-Level (Analyst in Training) program. Successful candidates receive a permanent position as Energy Analyst. The program is based in Beirut, with possible travel to client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Support Energy Consultants on energy efficiency, renewable energy and technical and management consulting projects
• Support Digitalization Consultants in integrating the digital energy management information system
• Support business development: market assessment, customer mapping, data capture, business case assessment and proposal preparation
• Help consultants deliver tasks on active technical or business projects
• Develop and work with complex energy and financial models to validate project business cases

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, CCE or Industrial Engineering
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, stamina and ability to work under pressure, including weekends when deadlines require it
• Good understanding of solar PV technology, building systems and design, and of energy modeling and energy management (a big plus)
• Perfect English; Arabic is a plus; French is a plus
• Working hours around 45 hours per week, office in Beirut or elsewhere depending on the project

Required skills

• Knowledge of energy modeling software such as Homer, PVSketch, VRay, Skellion, HAP or IESVE is a plus

What we offer

• Program fee of US$600 for the 6-month period plus a 200 USD monthly rental allowance if living more than an hour from the office
• Permanent Energy Analyst position after completion, with a salary of US$1,400
