Data Engineer – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the role

Eurisko is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join its Riyadh office. You will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable data platforms that enable analytics, AI, and strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate batch and real‑time data pipelines.
• Build ETL/ELT workflows across databases, APIs, applications, and streaming sources.
• Architect data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions.
• Develop and optimise data models for reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
• Integrate structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Implement data‑quality controls, validation rules, monitoring, and lineage.
• Improve pipeline performance, reliability, scalability and operational efficiency.
• Support secure data access, governance, privacy and Saudi data‑residency requirements.
• Automate deployment and testing of data pipelines.
• Collaborate with software engineers, AI specialists, data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience building production‑grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
